If you’ve been looking for a clean C30 – or perhaps for a GTI or other sporty but still practical car – this one-owner, well-maintained, and perfectly-equipped example in Orange Flame Metallic looks like the one to get.
In somewhat rare, top-level R-Design trim (which is mostly cosmetic stuff but looks great), this example seems to have an obsessive current owner, who’s documented every service visit on a spreadsheet. That’s the kind of person you want to buy a car from. It also benefits from the model’s mid-cycle refresh for 2011 and later years.
These cars have more power and features than most other cars in their class, though they’re more relaxed cruisers than true hot hatches. That makes the presence of the 5-speed automatic fitted here somewhat less of an issue than it otherwise might be – as does the fact that the available 6-speed manual was largely panned by auto critics of the day.
It’s offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in the LA area.
The ask of $11,000 is perfectly in line with KBB’s estimates for similar examples. Given the great spec and ownership history, that makes this a compelling deal.
