For a comfortable and reliable daily driver, this 3rd gen GS sedan would make a great choice. It has a proven powertrain, and its styling is holding up nicely (I actually like it more now than when it came out). Plus the quality of the materials used throughout is a noticeable step up from similarly-priced Camrys and Accords – not to mention it has additional goodies like ventilated seats that you won’t find on those other models.

This example looks like one of the best ones out there, with just a single owner and half the expected miles for its age.

Offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in the San Diego area for a very reasonable $14,900.

These are nice cars. They had an early GS430 in this body style with 290hp, but in 08 they replaced it with 342 hp 460 model with the LS 4.6 V8 and the 8 speed automatic shared with the ISF. Has a mechanical LSD too.

The Hybrid car is really cool too. Actually a tick faster than the V8 car, but very rare. The electric motor is in the transmission, runs all battery like a Prius when your going slow, gas motor kicks in under acceleration. Even has a kilowatt-hour battery gauge in place of the regular model’s tachometer. They did away with this in the next gen model which is a shame.

Very cool. The GS 460 sounds like a real sleeper!
