This R56 generation Mini hardtop in John Cooper Works (JCW) trim is a ton of fun for less than ten grand. The JCW treatment is not just cosmetic and includes notable upgrades like a more powerful turbocharged 4 cylinder (208 hp), a beefier suspension, Brembo brakes, and an electronic-locking differential.

This example looks great inside and out, as you might expect for one with just 33k miles. It’s offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in the Reno area for $9950, which is a good price for such a nice one (assuming there are no hidden issues).

These are really fun cars and handles like the proverbial go-kart.

I would suggest getting a 2011+ version with the updated and more reliable N18 engine (instead of the N14).

The earlier N14 engines are notorious for timing chain/guide failures and carbon build up.
