This terrific 9-5 example from near the end of the production run would make for an interesting, comfortable, and reasonably fun daily driver, especially if you happen to live in an area that has a good indy Saab mechanic around.
Though it’s squarely from the GM era, this car still features Saab’s 2.3 liter turbocharged four cylinder, a variant of the same basic engine that has been at the heart of most Saab models since 1982. It should pair nicely with the Aisin AF33 5-speed automatic, which was also fitted to Nissans, Volvos, and even Lancias of the day.
Offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in the Dallas area for $5500. It’s hard to imagine a much nicer car for the money.
