Here’s a pristine example of the Mk1 generation TT in rare AMLS trim (only 1000 were offered), commemorating Audi’s success in the American Le Mans Series. It features a 225 hp turbo four cylinder paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and of course Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive. AMLS-only goodies include the handsome 18 inch alloys as well as the striking color combo of Misano Red paint on silver leather.
This exact car was listed on Bring a Trailer a few months back (listing HERE) and was bid to $10,000 without meeting the reserve. The crowd there had no real nits with the car, which has a well-documented service history, other than (apparently) the price.
It’s now offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in Bend, Oregon, for $12,500. Pricey for sure. But if you’re a fan of the Mk1 TT, this is the one to have, and I think it’s worth it.
