Need a solid ride for under ten grand? How about way under ten grand? This sub-50k mile Lexus ES fits the bill. It’s in like-new condition, has the sweet Toyota V6 underhood, plus 2001 is the final year for this body style, so all of the kinks have been worked out. In classic silver on black, it even looks sharp.

Offered on craigslist HERE by a private seller in Seattle.

Ha, guy’s having a hard time selling that in Seattle? He needs to trade if off for that old Volvo, that ES is like, far too establishment man.

The seller kindly posted this update on the listing yesterday. Ha!

Nov 24 Sat update. yeah…it sold full price. I must say…using CL to sell an automobile? You buyers are an unusual collection of weirdness–and I mean that in the most generous way.

I saw that. Let’s preserve the entire update for posterity. One for the Craigslist annals! I especially enjoy the rant about original miles…

"Ok Seattle folks. You’re not as independent-thinking as I had hoped. So I’ve reduced my 6900 down to 6600.

Oh…and what’s with all the questions about ‘original mileage’? I mean…what other kind is there? Do people really still think that nefarious sellers roll-back an odometer to pull the wool over your eyes? I’m guessing that most anyone can tell if a car has 49K miles vs 149K. Or…maybe I don’t know anything about misdemeanor and felony charges. grin.

It’s been real. Peace."
