Z3s are great buys right now, and this is one of the cleanest ones I’ve seen. In base trim, it has the 1.9 liter inline four under hood, making a modest 138 hp, which is notably less than higher-spec trims with an inline six. But with a 5-speed manual gearbox plus less engine weight over the front wheels, it makes for the nimblest setup. And you know what they say about driving a slow car fast.
At $9500, it’s certainly not cheap, but I think it’s worth a bit of a premium to obtain such a well-kept example.
If you like the idea of a Miata with a bit more heft, this is the car for you.
