The C4-series Corvette represents one of the major performance car bargains of the moment, and this is one of the nicer examples I’ve seen in a while. In handsome Polo Green, it sports a somewhat rare 6-speed manual mated to the new-for-1992 LT1 small block V8, thrumming out 300 hp and more importantly 330 lb-ft of torque – more than enough to keep a grin on your face.
While the interior design may leaving something to be desired, it’s at least not boring. Meanwhile, I believe the exterior’s simple, clean and well-proportioned lines to be some of the strongest American design work in recent decades.
The only issue that I can see is a license plate that appears to have last been renewed in 2011. If the car has been sitting that long, it would be smart to have a thorough mechanical inspection prior to finalizing your offer.
This car is offered on craigslist HERE by a private owner in the Seattle area for just $12,500. It everything checks out well, it’s a hell of a lot of car for the money.
